
Well structured, with sweet cassis and cherry compote on the nose. Juicy berry and cherry fruit dominates the palate, and there’s a tiny hint of kirsch or maraschino too. Balanced, with a very open and creamy structure. It’s clear that this was a hot vintage, but there is real harmony and fruit focus here. A charmer which is drinking perfectly right now.
