One of the more elegant wines I’ve tasted from Markus so far, this leads with an entrancing honey, sage and heather aroma – and a hint of botrytis. The texture is quite leesy and opulent, but tight mineral and citrus notes reign it in beautifully.
Already very open and expressive, with ripe pear, crushed rocks and Mediterranean herbs, tailing off into a flinty, persistent finish. An outstanding wine.
