You might think that Grüner Veltliner grown on a heavier clay (loess) soil would result in a big wine. But here the result is a pin-sharp, tight and quite lean effort, with very well defined peach fruit and a little balsamic tinge.
It’s a wine that makes you salivate, but also ponder, as it unfolds into a lean but attractively salty finish.
This needs a bit more time to show at its best.
