
Fasincating to compare this reading of Heligenstein, made from Riesling trained using the lyre system, instead of Guyot. The same soil, the same vines, but here the fruit dominates the palate and is much more expressive. Mouthwatering acids and a wonderful refined finish complete the package. Guyot training seems to bring out the minerality, but this brings out the fruit in quite a thrilling fashion.
