Bone dry and a little lacking in fruit, this 2019 doesn’t lack mineral expression or acidity, but somehow feels a bit unfriendly and dour. There is the merest hint of a bit of botrytis, some candied peel on the finish.
Certainly a wine with interest, but lacking charm.
