A nicely rounded Chardonnay with loads of brioche and freshly baked bread notes – leesy rather than oaky, thank goodness. Not whole lot of fruit, but an attractive chalky texture and some salty excitement on the finish.
Tight and citrussy, with concentrated green plum compote at its centre, this is fresh and charming with a nice pepperiness announcing the variety. Well balanced, and the oak is well integrated too.
